How are we defining real world? I've never heard of even half the things many people here seem to consider common referents.

Even if I am a copy of some person from Thedas and not the original Dorian, what difference does it make? My memories and emotions are what they were yesterday or they aren't. Ellana remembers the same world and events I do. We remember why we're friends. If we're both some sort of simulacra, trained to think of ourselves as Dorian and Ellana, it doesn't make my friendship with her any less real.

[Growing up with beings trying to tempt him into illusions so they can take over his body has left Dorian with some issues with solipsistic thinking.]

And even if I am some sort of fake person, I'd rather not spend any more time in this place than necessary. So, even if I am a copy of a real person, I might as well be the original for all that I can prove or that it affects my goals, emotions, and/or reasoning.

What would you do differently if you thought you were a clone?

[Dorian is a little worried about the answer to that.]
