[network] @Spoiler; died awesomely; Night 111 [open] cw: suicidal ideation, death
[ Video ]
So...
[ It is after lockdown and Steph looks flushed, both with cold and delight. She's sitting outside the locked door to the post office. She doesn't know quite what to say for a moment. She probably should have waited until she had that figured out to make this post. ]
So, I think we all know what happens next. And I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I took a chance, and I know that this doesn't just affect me.
[ She tries to keep a straight face, but she can't help a grin at the memory of skateboarding through frickin ice stalagmites in a life or death race against time. ]
But I also want to say that it was totally worth it. Turns out it takes most of the day to get through the tunnels to the post office, even on a skateboard. And it was completely awesome. If there's a way to win at dying, I'm pretty sure I just did it. So take that, Snowhell.

[He pauses when she asks about trick or treating, then shrugs.]
I mean I've never been. Not the proper kid way, anyway. After I hit 16 I just went to parties. Before that, I...[he shrugs again, trying to look and sound more nonchalant than he feels about it.] I just didn't have anyone to go with me.

[ No parents is one thing, but no friends' parents either? ]
Uh, never have I ever been to a Halloween party. Gotham gets extra dangerous after midnight on Halloween.

[Man, it sounds so pathetic.]
Oh, shit man, when we're out of here, I'll take you to one. For some reason it's even more fun to do a keg stand when you're wearing a mask!
no subject
Actually, pretty much everything is more fun when you're wearing a mask.
I have to help Ed and Al end a war, first. I dunno if they have kegs in Amestris.

[At least he's pretty sure he's keeping her mind occupied. She's probably still ridiculous cold, but maybe she's not thinking about it so much.]
Do you think we'll be able to pick and choose where we go, when we're done here?
no subject
[ She falls quiet for a moment, sober. If she really dies here she definitely won't be going to Amestris with Al. ]
It's your turn.

Never have I ever...hmm...kissed a boy!
no subject
Never have I ever kissed a girl.
no subject
As long as I'm losing one for every girl I've kissed, eh, ehhh?
[He takes a moment to think about his next one, pondering what could get her.]
Never have I ever scaled a building!
no subject
You should try it some time, it's pretty badass.
Let's see... Never have I ever worn a letter jacket?
no subject
What? No high school boyfriend letting use their mathletics letter jacket? That's so lame.
[He drops a finger.]
Never have I ever...not been good at football.
[Yeah, okay, so he's boasting a bit. Whatever. He is good.]

And here we see the male jock trying to assert his superiority over the hypothetical nerdy ex. Little does he know his companion plays a mean game of flag football, and has taken down six different men twice his size within the last seven months.
no subject
I've been wanting to play a game of flag out here since I got here. Met people who don't even know what football is, or don't think we can play in the snow. And there's the sports shed! Surely there's a football out there.

[Truth is, Zach misses playing football. It's...basically the only thing he's good at.]
Wonder who would want to play. Cap, maybe? He's like, all-American and stuff.

[He grins, wolfish.]
Double act? Tag team?

I say we put a plan together, when you're up and about again. I can go back to the school shed and keep an eye on what's in there.
