Seriously?

[Despite himself, despite the pain and fear, the idea of it intrigues Stephen. His expression darkens, though -- or at least his mouth sets into a frown.]

Obviously they took the wrong thing away if they did. You think they've been listening in on the network?
termineur: (What do you have to say?)

[...ah. He realizes too late that he'd rather be talking about automail, and maybe he shouldn't have said that last part. Oh, well. ]

I'd be really surprised if they weren't. The message we all got from that glitchy static name? "Observation of residents complete. Please await results"? It has to be related to this.

I just didn't figure whoever was watching would pay such close attention.

We don't know if they did. We can't start blaming ourselves for what they did to us. This isn't -- what they did to me doesn't make any sense. It isn't anything, it's just...torture.
termineur: (Challenged)

[personal profile] termineur 2017-07-28 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Who's blaming? It is torture. And if they were watching us that close, it doesn't make them any less crazy. -more focused, maybe?

The question remains who we're even talking about.
termineur: (Whatcha gonna do?)

Someone who really likes the Prophet. That's all I've got so far.

[ He would really like to know who's behind this. ]

Winter was telling some people she thought one or both of our overlords might be cultists. She thought we should talk to ghosts about it.
termineur: (idk)

[personal profile] termineur 2017-07-29 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? Was that the last post she put up? I missed most of that.

[ He's going to have to ask people what all they caught from it...whenever they actually get out of this place. ]
thewarningafter: (goatee | snark | tired deadpan honesty)

[personal profile] thewarningafter 2017-07-30 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
I caught a couple things, but I didn't have time to read most of it before it went down. I saw that part, though.
termineur: (Interrupting)

[ He sighs, leaning his shoulder against the bars. Seriously, how could he have missed that post? ]

Well, I'm sure not surprised. Eve may or may not be human, and Robert is a creepy bastard. It's not a hard guess to make.
thewarningafter: (griefbeard | skeptical | Hamir tho)

Makes you wonder why they waited so long if it was them -- but maybe they needed us to open this part of town before they could.
termineur: (Accessing)

[personal profile] termineur 2017-07-31 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe they were only able to hack into the part of the system they needed recently. We've been slowly chipping away at it ourselves- or...okay, Winter has.

[ Another sigh. ] There's too many variables.

No, us, too.

[He lets out a hollow laugh at that thought.]

Oops.
