I was in New Jersey and it wasn't. But I'm working on finding supplies. Good boots and a warmer coat are at the top of my list.

Not sure I can offer much else, but people here seem to be pretty good, especially about answering questions. So until whatever the next horrible adventure is, hopefully you might be pretty set.

That really does help. Everyone I've spoken with so far has been helpful, with the exception of a few people who I'd guess are bored enough that they'll resort to joking around on a network.
Still, I suppose you have to find your entertainment somehow.

There's a lot of stress and it comes out in strange ways.
But the relationships you wind up in can get pretty strange, too. You know, you're in a barren Snowhell, you're bored with a camera and some silk cord, one thing leads to another...

I'm guessing it won't take long until I'm one of those people with a different kind of crazy I like doing.

[He might even have some theological/cosmological theories but that's a topic for another time, preferably after he's gotten some hands on some horribly cheap candy-flavored vodka. The kind that tastes like Jolly Ranchers and kerosene and leaves normal humans with a hangover that could kill a rhino.]
