The briefest version of things I can offer is this:
- You are in Norfinbury, Alaska in the United States of America on the planet Earth, around the year 2151.
- You MUST be inside a building before lockdown every day at 8 PM and lasts until 6 AM the next morning. You will receive a warning notification at 7 PM to get inside on your tablets.
- If you see a large, monstrous creature coming at you while you travel, RUN from it. You cannot fight it. You cannot reason with it. You cannot make friends with it. It is an anomaly and as soon as it touches you, you'll be knocked unconscious and either swallowed whole or carried away to be killed.
- Death is not always permanent here and you may revive in one of the morgues around town if this happens. Please try to avoid this as it increases your MN Poisoning.
- MN Poisoning is medical nanomachine-induced poisoning. Nanomachines are very tiny electronic devices that swim around in your blood. They produce waste while working to keep our bodies functioning. There are massive amounts of radiation in the atmosphere right now. Without the nanomachines we would die.
- MN Poisoning can manifest in a variety of ways. Known manifestations include: Depression, obsession, paranoia, pain, sickness akin to tuberculosis, and mania.
- The tablet is the device you're using to access this network. Keep it with you and try not to lose it. It is your best connection to the people of this town.
- You can contact the administrator of the town by sending a message to @ADMIN. She may not reply.

[ His rabbit trail about Europe aside, there's a good part of him that wants to cast blame for this firmly into House's lap, but considering that the last time he saw him, they were driving off on motorcycles, it seems like a stretch. Furthermore, the survival guide somewhat contradicts that theory.

northwestern alaska
far enough north that we might be getting midnight sun if the nights get any shorter
sun didnt set until almost midnight last night
which means yes it is always this cold and no we dont get a reprieve from the snow
we dont have a way out yet either but were working on it
namely by exploring the town area by area in a kind of spiral toward the center
which we pretty much have to do since finding the way into the next part of town often takes figuring out some kind of puzzle first

sorry to start a conversation off like that but there's definitely something wrong! this is not where i fell asleep? i haven't seen this house before and i don't want to scare whoever lives here when they get back because i'm in their bed probably and that's weird. that's really weird. i'm not a fan of this. i do not want to get shot for doing this when i didn't mean to be here.
