Hey. Hope you're getting the info you need, people here are good about getting guides and maps. Take a day or two to read through it all, it helps. It's been a rough week, people are letting off some steam. Don't worry too much about it.

People have been very helpful already. There's a lot of information to digest, though.

And so I've been told. At least I have a very rough idea of what I can look forward to.

Yeah, that's why I'm not bugging you much except to say hi. I haven't been here long so there are better people to fill you in, but I'm Rhys. Ink Rhys, as opposed to the other Rhys. =) Hopefully you won't get the same welcome treatment I did, but I don't want to get your hopes up. Basically, be prepared for anything no matter how horrible, and don't be shy about making friends. We're all stuck here, there isn't much else to hang onto but what help we can give each other.

It's nice to meet you, Rhys. This could be one of those obvious questions, but other than distinguishing you from the other Rhys, why do you go by Ink Rhys?

Honestly, my hopes aren't very high anymore. They might have been once, but then people started giving me the general idea of how things work around here. It seems that it wasn't long ago that people were being tortured under the guise of surgery.

It'll make sense when you see me, but I've got a LOT of tattoos. =) Kinda the most obvious thing for a nickname And yeah. Things got bad. They healed us all up after we got up but it's extremely fucked. Torture, surgery, crazy nuclear winter murder cult. Maybe drugs and weird mind control subliminal shit. I don't know.

[He has to stop and take a few breaths, before he starts spinning off into sounding like a deranged lunatic. It's kind of early in the relationship for that.]

So yeah, welcome to Snowhell. Also, you can freeze to death in like five minutes if you get locked out at night. So don't do that, either.

Oh, I see. That does make sense. I was wondering if you were an artist by trade or something, but that makes more sense.

Well, I won't be recommending this place to any of my friends. Not that I can, but if I could, I'd tell them all to steer clear.

I was in Boston and it was winter. I was lucky, I guess. Have you got a coat now? Have you got ANYTHING?

I was in New Jersey and it wasn't. But I'm working on finding supplies. Good boots and a warmer coat are at the top of my list.

I have an extra winter coat if you're stuck. Just be a matter of getting it to you.

As long as you're getting something, that's important. I managed to find most of what I have by searching the houses, but it's pretty hit or miss.

Not sure I can offer much else, but people here seem to be pretty good, especially about answering questions. So until whatever the next horrible adventure is, hopefully you might be pretty set.

That really does help. Everyone I've spoken with so far has been helpful, with the exception of a few people who I'd guess are bored enough that they'll resort to joking around on a network.

Still, I suppose you have to find your entertainment somehow.

There's a lot of stress and it comes out in strange ways. But the relationships you wind up in can get pretty strange, too. You know, you're in a barren Snowhell, you're bored with a camera and some silk cord, one thing leads to another...

Hey, everyone's got their own thing. All bullshit aside, I'm starting to get the feeling that this place messes with your head in some pretty fucked up ways, but I also feel like at least some of us weren't too tightly wrapped even before we got here. The weird is pretty much pick your flavor.

[He might even have some theological/cosmological theories but that's a topic for another time, preferably after he's gotten some hands on some horribly cheap candy-flavored vodka. The kind that tastes like Jolly Ranchers and kerosene and leaves normal humans with a hangover that could kill a rhino.]

And maybe not a preposition, maybe more of a friendly invitation for company if it helps. =)
